I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in North and South Carolina. I have 17 years of experience as a therapist. Being fully bilingual, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
My background includes helping couples improve communication and deepen their emotional connection. I assist couples in addressing issues of romantic relationships such as intimacy, managing day-to-day conflicts, traumatic injuries, forgiveness, building safety and trust and strengthening their relationship to ensure a lifetime of love.
My experience includes working at a children's hospital psychiatric unit, community mental health and private practice. I have worked with children starting at 5 years old, adolescents and their parents. I assist them in navigating issues such as bullying, low self-esteem, school avoidance, social difficulties, divorce, blended families, grief and loss, foster care, adoption, trauma, abuse, severe depression, anxiety and psychotic disorders. I have also worked with adults who suffer from many of these same difficulties.
I am a person of faith and have an active parish life at our church. I have three children.
